Your hosts are John and Paula Kempthorne. We are originally from Hamilton, where we have spent many decades in Medicine, John being an Anaesthetist, and Paula being a Registered Nurse.
We owned and operated a Red Deer Stud also, breeding quality animals for velvet growth and trophy antler.
We have always holidayed in Whitianga, and know the area very well. In 2014, we sold our farm and the vision for “Casa Aquila” was born. From this point we have designed and built our dream home and created a beautiful B & B for visitors to enjoy.
We have traveled extensively and really enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Along with our cat “Tiggi”, we look forward to taking time to host you, and give you a genuine Kiwi experience.
